So basically For every 250 person I follow with followliker I get 25 followbacks , basically 1 in 10 people follow me back . Is that good or not .
Thanks

what are your following settings? just random person or a certain criteria? should be more imo.

Following relevent tags and scraping followers of other accounts in the niche .

how big is your account?
On my 15k account I Follow 1000 and i get back about 400-500.
On my Small Acc I follow 1000 and get only 100-200 back

it definitely has to be bigger. try changing accounts whose followers you're scraping

My account has around 4000 followers , and gets as I said around 10 followers per 100 followed people

This depends on a bunch of things. Quality of your content, niche, who your following etc.

Regardless, 10/100 is too low. You should be aiming for 40-50/100.

It depends on a lot of things..

1. Your content -- they might not like it
2. Your followers count -- if it's small amount they might not follow you back
3. The users you follow -- if they're not related to your niche, they might not follow back
4. How long you wait before results -- some people don't check their IG everyday, so it might take 2-3 days to see final answer.

My recommendation: do not follow people based on hashtags. I had the worst results that way.. but then again it could be only me.

Do you limit the follow action by "Follow users who posted X - XX days ago"? Maybe you follow non-active users

This is a quality issue, I guarantee you. With quality content, you should be having at least a 50% followback rate as long as you are targetting the people you are following.

Manually I get 30 - 45 per 100 so perhaps you're not targeting the right types of accounts?

If you're using hashtags to follow people be sure they're not too popular and are relevant to your content. Some hashtags are saturated with content that isn't even related to the hashtag (damn you hashtag generators) and result in a lower followback ratio. Just manually search for hash tags that look good and aren't filled with irrelevant content.

Another issue may also be quality as mentioned above.

That's pretty low IMO.

On my new accounts, for every 100th follower, i average between 35-70+ followers.

On more established accounts it's higher because I get a lot more exposure compared to newly created accounts.

Anyone mind shedding some light on how to gain more... i'm posting good content (getting more than 10% interaction) and i'm only getting around 30-40% followback, mostly 30% on smaller accounts and 40% on two which are 16k and 27k.

My targeting settings are:
x follow users who have <500 followers
x follow users who have <700 followings
x follow users who have posted in the last 20 days
