Quick question about creating Web 2.0 backlinks

So most guides say to have other outbound links on your Web 2.0 properties in addition to the link to your money site.

My question is, should all the links be related to the niche? Loosely related? Not related at all?

Ya i think its a good idea to link to an authority site in the niche. Makes sense if you link to both G will think ur authority as well.

For better results they should all be closely related. Try Building long tail keywords first then work your way up to a more competitive one.

Best to link to money site and also provide a site for reference.. like wikipedia, some news sites etc.,

I don't care what most of the guides say, I link to my money site only! This way I get 100% juice from that web 2.0 backlink power and not share it with other authority sites in my niche. However, it is important to say to diversify your anchor text as much as possible and not overdo it with 1k backlinks from web 2.0-s overnight.
