Quick question about citation spam

I paid a SEO 5 bucks to make me citation, sometimes 20$. I have found he spammed 1 or 2 sites to the extreme link 1k backlinks to one guys directory...
Before you say it, you pay for what you get "Noted"

Will this get my domain penalized? Unlike a normal backlinks it is NAPs

Citation or backlinks is not a cheaper task but there is availability of free backlinks website accept spamming of web link. If need a good citation it charge more unlike free normal backlinks.
 
Yes, too many spammy citations can harm your SEO. Disavow bad links and use trusted directories only.

Could be risky if it's mass spam on low-quality dirs. Google can still pick that up, even with NAPs. I’d check indexing and disavow anything that looks auto-blasted.

Thanks, i handled that prepost, i was looking for a nod from others to a degree.
 
You should not pay for so many backlinks, it is not good for your website. Too many backlinks may harm your website's rank. It is better to focus on quality backlinks rather than quantity. Keep this in mind for future references.
 
I forgot to ask this. Someone who does this task for money. Are they using a tool that is automated?

He was only supposed to ad 1 NAP to each RD.

They claim that are they are doing it manually, but they don't and use automated tools.
