Quick Question About Blogger

I have been wondering, too, if backlinks work with blogger/blogspot or if Google ranks purely based on on-site SEO.
I also read somewhere on this forum that Google may give it more weight because it is a 'G' site, kind of a 'promote your own' deal. Thoughts?

One more question - is it better to use something like linkilicous instead of buying a SB blast? Or does the person using the blast need to be using linkilicious? I really don't understand how the service works...

With the latest algorithm changes it seems like .blogspot.com domains are given the same weight as an EMD which Google doesn't do for any other subdomains.

When I've built blogspot blogs to rank I use the same kind of links that I would to my own money site. If I use it as a buffer site I spam it with scrapebox, etc. I don't use linklicious so I have no idea about that service. Treat a new blogspot site like you would a new domain if you want it to rank.
