Hi guys, I'm an Amazon noob, so please excuse me for this one.

If I am promoting pre order items and people pre order them, does it show in my orders summary under ordered items, or do I have to wait for the items to be dispatched before they are shown in my stats?

Cheers guys,

James :)

You can see your commissions once they pay for that product. Here in our country we have cash on delivery, so i saw my commissions once they dispatched the product.

Cheers guys. I just thought it a bit strange that in 2 days I have 2617 total clicks and 0.0% total conversion. I thought (hoped lol) that maybe as I was promoting pre order items, any sales might not show until dispatch.

Yes! that's possible !

Once the payment is made by customers to Amazon, your commission will be reflected in your account. You need not to wait till the product is shipped.

Seo and social Traffic.very targeted.

Seo and social Traffic.very targeted.

Then it`s weird cause you should have had some random sales (although social traffic mostly suck for Amazon). Are you geo targeting? I mean sending US traffic to amazon.com, UK traffic to amazon.co.uk and so on?

Cheers

My traffic is mostly UK and US and maybe 10% from the rest of the world. I just ordered one of the pre order products for myself and no money has been taken from my bank account. Pretty sure the sale isn't final until dispatch day when they take my money, but you are right, weird nothing other than the pre order stuff would of been bought.

4k + clicks and no orders for Amazon is not normal. You are doing something wrong. I suppose you use bought not targeted shitty traffic,or a totally bad landing page. Usually with SEO and social media traffic I have 7-8% conversion rate with a descent (not even perfect) landing page.

I think Amazon takes payment only when it ships items, so you should see the sale reflected then.

4K clicks and zero sales rings alarm bells for me.

For one of my sites i get a sale every 25-50 clicks or so. All my traffic comes directly from search engines.

The click stats your getting - they are stats from amazon yes? Asking because if you are using something else to check click stats, and your using an amazon plug in, its possible the developer is switching your associate ID. Unlikely but possible.
