Havn't been in SEO for that long yet and I everything cept my Competition research seems to be going great. I just found a great keyword for a micro niche (I think) and wanted to rank for it. Could you guys tell me how hard or easy it would be?

[EXACT]
Global Searches: 1300
Local Searches: 1300
Approximate CPC: ?14.89

Intitle: 783 Intitle+Inurl: 64
.com .net .org - Available (6 Words 18 Characters)

This should be easy right? What would you guys say are the most important things to look at in Market Samurai when I do my research?

ya go with this keyword. i can recommend strongly that domain. You can reach first page with good onsite seo.

Just registered the Domain, thanks!

So another question. I know that these keywords shouldn't be that hard to beat, but they are micro niches so there isn't that much competition. But at what point am I crossing the line between easy and hard to beat? What kind of stats on Marketsamurai should I mind when I do my research?

For example another one which I think that might be harder to rank.

I'd say look at the SEOC and SEOTC in Market Samurai. I go with the guideline of under 60K for SEOC and under 20k for SEOTC. Anything over that you have a lot more competition so it might be a little harder to rank.

Your research looks sound for those keywords. I'd go ahead and try ranking for both. Add a few other keywords for your site so that you set up a diversified amount of potential traffic streams.

dude those keywords should be really easy to rank for!! i mean, almost no backlinks to the sites on the front page, really low intitle and inurl numbers, and from what i see on the MS screenshots the top 10 arent even optimized for the kw.

For competition I only look top 10 resutls. If there is a authority site internal links i will go fr it. for example yahoo answer and wiki page link give me a some motivation to buy the domain.

Go For it! You can rank for everything if you just wait and never give up and keep building links to it.
