Quick n' Dirty Guide to Charon - Free, Good Proxy Checker

hey sorry i dont know how to edit but i just wanted to let you guys know that i've fixed the problem. if anyone is having the same problem my solution is to copy all the judges in the judge.ini folder into a plain text then add the AZ Environment variables 1.04 judges into that same plain txt. delete your judge.ini file. open charon and select the judge option. copy and past all judges from plain txt file into charon. next delete your duplicate files and test judges select the judge u want to use and close. this will then save your new list of judges and create a new judge.ini file

I did everything as in the first post but Charon finds me less than 40 proxies in a hour (50% of them are non anonymous). I am sure this shouldn't be so - so what could be the problem?
 
:/ I'm also having a hard time with this. Charon isnt displaying any proxies and the search ends after a text box flashes up confirming the judge i have selected works and such. What am i doing wrong?

Okay, how often can I use this filtered Charon list after I use it once with TI ?

I now have about 300 proxies all anon.

One more question Ape:

In step 3 (Connect Options) if I'm using DHCP can I leave the "my IP" field blank? Or should I keep entering the assigned IP each time it changes?

Allows your machine to open more connections simultaneously. That way you can comfortably raise the number of threads when checking.

You can just set it to check your IP before the test. It's important that the checker knows what your IP should be so that it can see when it's properly hiding. If you've got the wrong IP in there it'll skew your results.

I had just started using Charon yesterday and this great tutorial has saved some hair pulling.

BHW auto-redirects live links through anonymize, it must have a weird reaction to the link.

Just copy/paste it and it'll be fine.

thanks..hv lookup at several blog..becos lack of bh apps tutorial..but it seem evryone like teaching here..many thanks..i'll use it with Pr storm software for backlinking..
 
when I click on check anonymity of all proxies nothing happens anyone have any ideas. thx for the help.:confused:
