Quick money making methods vs long term investements?

Hey,
It is easy to get caught up in quick money making methods during corona times. But the best investments are the long term and sustainable business ideas with a clear goal and strategy.

What is your approach and view on this?

Ive done both. They all eventually come to an end. Short term or long term. Whitehat or blackhat.

Diversify. Make short term money and invest it in long term stuff.

Long term is always the best strategy. Above all, Time is THE most important factor and is invaluable.

If you just try to make quick bucks by using short term method, you are wasting a lot of time because even before you begin, you know it is not sustainable.
And you have to put same amt. of time, effort and energies to make the short term method work. And even after all the hard work, you never know if it is going to work or not

On the other hand, Long term goals and strategies are almost always going to work because it's not based on some quick fix but real business strategy.
It may take sometime to get results but once you get there, you will grow and reach new heights provided you are patient enough and consistent as well.
Also, with the passage of time, you will become pro in your field as you gain experience.

Moreover, the money you spend on the long term project is your investment, not the spending which is the case when you choose short term methods.
