Step 1: Pick 1 competitor and find top competitors via SemRush

Example: myhouserabbit (dot) com

Step 2: Do a keyword difficulty analysis of your main competitors to get a list of lower difficulty keywords

Create content around lower difficulty keywords and scale up

These 3 steps give you a place to start by leveraging your existing competition's kw rankings

I agree 100%! The key is to reverse engineer your competitors to find lower difficulty keywords with traffic

Even if their SEARCH INTENT is PURELY INFORMATIVE, this is still a good start.

Rank with informative kws then scale to COMMERCIAL INTENT keywords

But you have to input a valid credit card each time, or at least a valid VCC right? That means its not 0 cost.

To find the weak competitors there is a tip:

- Get money keywords from your niche in semrush
- Use scrapebox to find the top 10 results for these keywords
- Check the da of the results
- Pick sites with a da under 15
- Do what you suggest in this guide
