Quick List Building Method v2

Hi All, this my 1st real post here so go easy on me! haha.

I tried out this method for getting a large number of emails and it seems to work pretty nicely.

This is meant for people who have a product to sell/or affiliate product and need a method on how to begin marketing to them rather than 100% paid traffic.

1. Go to ANY FREE CLASSIFIED WEBSITE
2. Select the city/country you want to target
3. Go to FREE section.
4. Post an ad related to your product that is FREE. (i.e. if you are selling electronics, offer an old free TV, or PS3 remote control). Be sure to include a picture as this will increase views.
5. Collect all the emails that roll in.
6. Market to said emails with your product offers.

I tried this method with ONE ad and got over 100 emails in 1 day.

Now, as you can see I am an IM newb - however from what I understand, you are OK to market to these people all day long, as long as you comply with the can-spam act. Meaning, the collection method is OK, just make sure to research what you can/cannot do. Such as you must include an address, unsubscribe etc.

Sounds good as long as your free item is related to what you plan to sell later so that it would be targeted.

What if you just offered to sell Diablo3 ebook instead therefore getting emails of people ready to buy AND there are a number of other Diablo3 items on CB for later follow up sales to go along with some free tips...?? I'll try and let you know.
