Quick Keyword Research Question

Hi guys!

Doing some keyword research for an upcoming project of mine, have a list of around 200 keywords. I'm wanting to narrow these down to a list of about 20 keywords that I can really focus my efforts on for ranking. Right now I have these Keywords in a list on an excel sheet separated into 3 columns: Keyword, Search Volume, Keyword Difficulty.

So my question really, is there a way that I can use excel (solver??) or some program to tell me the best possible combination of keywords that have the highest search volume with the lowest keyword difficulty.

Just need to narrow down these 200 keywords into the best possible 20 keyword group.

Just plug em all in then filter to range needed( SV and KD )

You could use the DATA tab and filter / sort as required. Make sure you expand to all columns.

What I like to do is set conditional formatting in excel and apply a filter to the top tab and organize keyword difficulty score in ascending order. This way I will see keywords organized from the lowest KD scores to the highest.

Then, I can play with the monthly search volume tab and set the filter to only show keywords with...

• 1,000+ monthly searches
• 500 - 999
• 250 - 499
• 100 - 249
• <100

Obviously, you can also do this the other way around. Filtering monthly search volume in descending order so it shows keywords from the highest number to the lowest and plays with the KD score tab to show only KD score between 0 and 3 or however you would like to approach this.
