I have this idea but I don't know if it's good or not so some brainstorming and feedback would be nice.

Imagine you find a nice keyword like "logo design cost" (example)... is it a good idea to promote a book like for example: "Logo design 101" or " logo designs for beginners"?

    thanks

Your post makes me confused... what do you mean is it good idea?
If you find a nice keyword it's always a good idea to promote a product under it, but the question is - is your traffic going to convert.

For example, I don't think that people looking for costs of logo design are going to be mostly interested in buying a book about it - you must have a good landing page for this ;)

Also... what do you mean by good keyword ?

For me a good one is if you can reach 1st page with only Social Marketing :)

It look like that something that I have to test...

That's exactly what a good keyword is to me ->1st page with only Social Marketing.

xcubic - I believe it's not something that you have to test but it's a retorical question.
If you have found a good keyword, if you have a product that you can sell and it can be done with only SM it's only a question of money.

For example - I run a webdesign company and have a lot of work from my current customers and for me to invest time in promoting ebooks - in most cases it's not worth my time :)

Many people live only by doing what you ask about:

    1) Find keywords
    2) Find products at clickbank
    3) Dominate keyword
    4) Promote clickbank products
    5) Get money

I believe it's simply a thing you can do on the web - simple ;)

1st page out of how many, and who cares if no one wants to buy anything in your market?

It's easy to rank on the first page for Herman Bumblefinney's Obnoxious Trouser Snake Collection, but who gives a fuck? Nobody wants to BUY a trouser snake collection... well ok, maybe some people do. :)

and as others said, the product depends on what they surfer wants.

Find a way to solve the problem they're searching for an answer for, and you'll have a better chance at a winner.

So for example if the search phrase is "logo design cost", a book like "How to Slash 87.4% Off The Cost Of A Logo Design At Any Design Shop On Earth!" would probably be a much better fit.
