i never used wordpress, but everyone talks about it and says its good to use. i want to make a quick page to promote on ppc on an untargeted keyword.

what do u guys suggest, should i use ppc? or will it better to use wordpress, also if i do wordpress which is best, wordpress.com or my own stuff from wordpress.org?

Having designed websites through web expression and now finally:rolleyes: looking at wordpress and using it for a week, I would say go wordpress no brainer. The speed at which you can put out a site is insane and I can't even image how fast it will be in the months to come when I actually figure it all out.

From the forum it seemed like many liked hostgator for wordpress and I would say after using it for a week it is very easy to use, even for a newb.

If you get stuck look to here or any of the 1k's of youtube videos out there.

P.s. pick-up some of the themes here at BHW

Wordpress on your own domain, hands down. Names are cheap at namecheap.com, hosting is cheap and reliable on hostgator.com. Even if you're not interested in non-PPC traffic, visitors will at least take you more seriously.

Affiliateninja,

Just to clarify, you do understand that wordpress is a website building platform that can be either hosted in the cloud or on a server of your choosing and that PPC is pay per click advertising? The wording of your last sentence makes me ask that.

In answer to your question, why not just create a page on your site that you have set up already? Why would you go to all the trouble of setting up another website? Just make a landing page on your site and use that.

Best,

Shawn
