Hi, i'm trying to figure out where to put this next project i'm working on, and a subdomain off my blog could work, but i'm wondering if the engines still consider these subdomains as completely separate domains?

I think i remember reading that the new G is taking the subdomain path into account now, is that right?

    Like: shirts.clothes.com/v-neck -or-

would the right way still be: clothes.com/shirts/v-neck

    Thanks, cheers!

For the most part, the SE's consider subdomains separate entities.

I did a search on G recently and that was the understanding as long as the sub.domain acts like a separate site it is separate.

That being said if your sub is interlinking with the TLD and other subs it could also share it's juice and or sandboxing.
