Quick blogging question about SEO

I have just started a blog which I plan to monetize with affiliate offers.

I have bought half a dozen we written blog posts targeting low ranking difficulty keywords which I will be posting, indexing all that jazz and I was just wondering if anyone had some tips on helping rank the blog posts in Google?

Is it worth purchasing SEO packages/services of this site for each blog post?

The thing about SEO packages is that you never know what you will get if you don't have a history with the seller. I would advise to buy one package instead and wait for results. If the page is ranking, then it is worth it doing it with another page. If not, go for another seller. Also, the site being brand new, don't overdo it. Start small and don't expect miracles for the first few months.

You get a better understanding on the power of an SEO package if you put it towards a page, as the strength will dissipate slightly when passing through the home page to inner pages. But then again, a website receiving links only to one page might not look at all natural, so you should get a few decent links to other pages as well. Build them yourself if you don`t want to spend on packages.
