I have a site with content locker pro on it. I have USA offers for CPA Tank on it and I was planning to put the adscendmedia file gateway thing on it. For thoes of you that dont know the file gateway is just a link that someone can go to and it will pop up with surveys. I am wondering which is better their content locker or the file gateway. I assume they are the same, but I want confirmation if at all possible. Also i have some forien offers in CLP for adscend media. If i set u pthe file gateway should I just the gateway automatically choose offers for me? or should I leave it the way it is? Thanks

I think they are the same. The file gateway is a file hosted on adscend, and the normal content locker locks the web page that you own. Whichever one is "better" depends on what you're using it for. But I would assume that the normal one gives you more freedom.
As far as CLP, I know they have geo-targeting options. But note that geo-targeting is not applied to the previews. This way you can see all of the offers you have on there regardless of what country you are in.

With the filee gateway i dont have anything hosted there. I just have a passwword display as it is an option. and Im not breaking the rules in any way because my website just says click here to download the password. Thanks for letting me know
Just a heads-up: if you're linking to the password from warez, porn, etc, then it's still not allowed, even though you're just linking out to it.
As far as which is better - if you're locking just a link or a file or a password, I think they're about on par with each other. You can't customize the text on the page, or the offers, but if you don't mind those two things, they're otherwise about the same.

I find the Content Locker better since its nice, simple and small on ur pages. U can customize it to your likes. Besides its more user-friendly to ur visitors.
I used CLP with adscendmedia, unfortunately I have to say that Adscendmedia Content locker has a better conversion. Even thou i used the same design and offers. Seems that CLP has some issues when displaying and openign some offers. Which I am still waiting for them to resolve taht but its been 5 days since the last time they replied.

I am also with CPA Tank and I have my US offers in CLP. If I put the other locker on my page that would conflict with the CLP. Unless there is a way around it.

lol that is normal. i never put the gateway on load. only on click.

I would say CLP, if you have the Ultimate content locker, why bother with their little one. Also, how did you get your unique subid (like aa or whatever) that we replace with [subid] into their urls, can't find a place to add it the AM doesn't seem to get what I'm trying to say.
