quick addmefast question

Hi,

Adding more pages to addmefast. For some items such as pinterest repins etc there is a description, I keep wondering if anyone knows whether this description has any value outside of addmefast (is it like anchor text or am I wishful thinking and it is only a description for me in addmefast).
