I'm pretty new to clickbank, as well as this forum
and I was wondering if it's against the rules to buy the products I'm promoting through my hoplink and if it's not, will I still get a commission from it?

Im not too sure if its illegal.You would still get comission though.You should be safe im pretty sure they dont check over everything thats sold. All they care about is the money!

I've bought through my affiliate link a couple of times. I still haven't received the money yet because they make sure you are getting sales from different credit cards/paypal accounts. I think you need at least 3 different sources.

Its pretty common for affiliates to buy using their affiliate link and unless you are above your threshold payment, you wouldn't get your commission check anyway.

The only thing is that the merchants may frown on this practice as they makes
much less, however its not all a bad thing as it will increase their gravity and boost
the product.

As the owner of a couple of clickbank products, I have seen my affiliates
bought through their own links and I am totally fine with it, they may just want
the product to review it. And the good thing is that my products gravity increases!
