Questions on Proxies to use with ScrapeBox

Hi guys,

I got my copy of ScrapeBox today (I know its late, but better late than never ) I have some questions on proxies and their harvesting. I have already searched the forum before posting them, so please answer them if you can.

1. Does the speed of proxies affect the speed of harvesting/posting in ScrapeBox?
2. Do we need Google Test proxies to harvest from Google?
3. How do I calculate the ideal number of connections? I have 10 MBps internet connection which is approx 1.25 Mbps download speed.
4. How long do private and shared proxies last? Is it advisable to check them after every harvesting/posting session?

Yes it does, if proxies are slow after timeout pages will be skipped.

Yes, there's no point in burning thread. It would be same as hitting target bling folded.

Best would be to watch Looplines video for this but as per my experience you can easily run 50-100 connections or more depending upon your PC specs.

If you are going to scrape google make sure proxies will burn out soon. so its better to check and filter proxies after every session.
Just a tip scrape yahoo or bing

You should scrape from Bing because alot of public proxies Will work. Most public proxies don't work Google and die very quickly

google is harder and harder to harvest, I use the other engines for harvesting as it gives me almost the same results as google, but proxy requirements are lower. From sites I use I get around 2k working proxies, not google enabled, but they would perfectly od the job for the other engines

This videos should help. Also as advised above, I do use google, but remember its not the only good engine out there.
