Hey BHW,

I've been really interested to explore this outsourcing process and meet some potential workers to create a team.

My question is where is the best source to connect with potential workers looking to earn somewhere in the $3-4/hr range (plus cool benefits ;D).

I'm looking for people with great english reading and writing skills, and I'll be looking for great communicators. The rest I think can be easily taught. Oh, I'm also looking for people I can potentially add to a team that would have ongoing work throughout the year. (So not just one project).

Any suggestions on good sources for my search?

Cheers :D

I've had very good luck with odesk.

I pay per task instead of per hour so this way if they don't work hard, they don't get paid much.

I write a detailed job offer and have them write an article on a keyword of my choice (I hire writers). I pay them for their article if is is usable (coherent and passes copyscape). I hire them if their work is excellent. I usually hire a handful of people with each job I post knowing that some will disappear within a few weeks. Finding writers that will stay with you is difficult and it is impossible to tell who will abandon you within a week and who will stay with you for months.

Thanks for the great tips and advice LBrown. I suppose it would definitely be difficult to keep tabs on someone your working with that way.
