Questions on EMD

When I do keyword research for example I came up with 2 keyword phases, "A4 paper coupons" and "A3 paper coupons".

Is it wise to register a domain A3A4papercoupons ? or just A4papercoupons / A3papercoupons are a better option?
Using A3A4papercoupons seems being able to target both keywords well.

Also, is putting in hyphens good for SEO? Say the best domain for this should be A3-A4-paper-coupons

I have heard people saying they don't like hyphens, since you don't often seen them ranking high.
But I also heard that hyphens are good for SEO as to make your domain more readable, so G like that.

What is your call?

A3A4papercoupons.com is all you need to target these 2 keywords. Forget about everything else

if this is so the longer the domain name the better, so it can target as many keywords as it can,

No, because you've massively reduced the individual keyword density in the URL, so you lose a lot of the benefit and point of having an EMD/PMD.

Long URLs are okay if you're trying to rank a specific long phrase, but if you load a URL with keywords, then it becomes diluted and tantamount to keyword stuffing, plus it looks stupid from the customers perspective.

URL's should aim to be as punchy as possible.

wrong... very wrong even;
this domain will be good for A4 paper coupons, but not for A3 paper coupons... because that word/phrasing isn't in there is it?

It's not EMD, surely, but that's what OP told what he need. He needs to target 2 keywords. That's the best way to do that

dont listen to imperial lol , thats just dumb. If you wand an EMD get the individual domains. When you make it A3A4papercoupons.com you just lost your A3papercoupons EMD AND made the A4papercounpons keyword alot weaker. Just my 2 cents.
