Hey. I'm looking to repost content on instagram. I've seen some people say that you should modify the content slightly. e.g. add some frames to the end of the video, clear metadata/md5 hash, mirror, mess with the colors, playback speed, resize, etc.

Does anyone know if that actually changes anything anymore? Considering that 50%+ of instagram is reposted content, I find it hard to believe that they would crack down on it that much. But most importantly, if they did want to crack down on it, would any of these actually do anything towards bypassing their detection in this current age of AI. Seems like it would be easy enough for them to detect the repost without major edits.

Why dont you simply credit the Original poster? Simple and straightforward

I do credit the OP. I should've clarified, what I'm worried about is Instagram reducing the reach of the post when they detect it as a duplicate.

Interested in knowing the same. Just started few days back still 0 views in all posted content.

You can easily use Metadata++ to clear footprints and repost the content without any issues AND you can still credit the original poster if you want.

Could you tell me how to use the Metadata++ software to clean up the fingerprints as well as the metadata? Perhaps, my problem (although I am not sure) could be attributable to the fact that I did not delete all the data. So let me know how to use this programme correctly. Thank you in advance for your prompt reply.

Right-click -> clean all. If you do that and still have issues, then it's not the fingerprints, you did something wrong with other thing

OK. I clicked on 'Clean All', without selecting all the entries, and the programme should have removed all the metadata. In addition, I disabled the Wi-Fi, activating only the data connection, and logged in to a profile I had never used before. Afterwards, I posted the content without footprints and metadata, hoping that Instagram would not restrict its visibility. However, I don't know if this information is useful, but I transferred the mp4 file from my PC to my phone, using Telegram's desktop app. Also, as far as the device is concerned, I have no possibility to change it anytime soon, so I had to use the same phone. Tell me if, by any chance, I made a mistake during the process, and I will be more than happy to take your advice and tips.

so I had to use the same phone
This! If you used the same phone before and your account got banned/blocked/flagged then the phone is the issue. I would uninstall IG app, wait a few days up to 1 week and retry with a fresh IG install + new account and use mobile data

It Dosent matter

I do same thing.

I just downloaded and post on my account, especially hot girls and meme.
I don't know how you manage to avoid the limitation of visibility by the various platforms. However, I am happy for you. In my case, every time I download a reel from others and republish the same content on my profile, giving, of course, credit to the original author of the post, Instagram, as well as other platforms, limit the visibility of my content. Basically, it is as if the social network judges my content as 'unsuitable' to be shown to other users. Believe me, I am trying everything to solve this obstacle.

Thank you. I'm still skeptical about metadata/fingerprints making a difference, but i guess it wouldn't hurt to do it anyways just in case. Do you know of any programs that can do it programmatically? I would like to implement it in my bot. Ffmpeg maybe.

I do not think your poor reach is due to credit but maybe the posts itself is flagged and cannot be recommended.

I currently run 33 IG accounts that I built from scratch, with the same strategy. I also have friends who use this same strategy also.

Last week, one of my posts that I copied and posted went viral and has since got 1.8m views and counting.

Check your account status, your account could have flagged contents.

I checked the status of my account, and there is no problem. I am not restricted by the platform, so I wonder how it is possible that Instagram limits the visibility of my posts. Also, my content does not violate the platform's guidelines: it is nature reels, and not sexual material. I would really like to understand where I am going wrong, as well as if there are any extra steps I need to take before publishing the reel, as well as after cleaning up the metadata in the file. I have taken every possible precaution, such as using scripts that make the videos 'unique', applying modifications, and changing the MD5 hash. Despite this, even applying such expedients, I continue to experience this blockage. A user, in another forum thread, had told me that, every time you download content from Instagram, the social network adds data or some imprint in order to prevent the republication of the same content. Please help me. I would love someone to help me understand where I'm going wrong, because although I do all the steps correctly, I can't get my head around the fact that Instagram, as well as TikTok, limits the visibility of my posts.

Given that I cannot buy a new device at the moment for financial reasons, could I know what I am doing wrong? I have tried to take the necessary precautions, as you advised me earlier; however, Instagram limits the visibility of my posts. I have also tried posting a reel to a previously unused account, previously accessing the profile with a data connection. Yet, strangely, this was not enough to circumvent the controls applied by Instagram. I do not think that the problem is attributable to the device, as I do not experience this problem on another account, where I republish some videos downloaded from TikTok. Moreover, I also access this profile while connected to the Wi-Fi at home. At this point, I assume that the inconvenience is amputable to other factors. For these reasons, I need your support: you have much more experience than I do with reposting content, as well as knowing various solutions to circumvent the algorithms of the various social networks. I am therefore counting on your help.

If you create and post good content, your id will not be affected.
My content is of high quality, as well as not breaking Instagram's guidelines. Therefore, I don't understand why the social network keeps restricting the visibility of my posts. I hope to find an expert in republishing other people's reels and photos. Despite removing the metadata and changing the MD5 hash of a file, as well as using various scripts to make the videos 'unique', I cannot circumvent this block. I would also like to point out that my reels are not removed or reported by users, also because they are not shown to any users.

How long you have been uploading content? Coz Usually I have seen for myself some accounts of mine took more than a month to show any traction.

For quite some time, I have been publishing content on my Instagram profiles. However, the social network prevents me from reaching new users outside my circle of followers. My problem is that the reels, despite being of good quality, are not shown on the 'Explore' page or in the appropriate section. Instead, strangely enough, I notice that a lot of people, while republishing other people's content, manage to reach millions of views. So, I ask myself the following question: where am I going wrong?

Hey, are you using desktop to post or from your phone? and you use a software for managing multiple accounts?

Make sure to erase metadata/exif and try to crop pics or play with reso and you should be good.
