I have an e-commerce site and I currently sell a product for about 1400$. I sell 1 item a week or so.

I started selling this product on ebay but the manufacturer no longer allows sales online. Then I moved to e-comm.

I notice that this product is available on amazon from 2 sellers (amazon iteself plus one other seller) for 2400$.

I live in canada.. is there anyway I can sign up for amazon usa to sell this item? I guess I just need to get a USA bank account and address some how. I have a legit registered business in canada I can use.

Would I be right in assuming I could just knock a few hundred bucks off my price to undercut both sellers? Or does amazon control the price.

Amazon can't control what price you set on your merchandise. I'd say go ahead if you're product is legit. Amazon has no mercy for sellers that don't abide by their rules though, and will suspend you at the drop of a hat so keep your nose clean and you shouldn't have any problems.
