Questions about purchasing a betting website

A seller has approached me (trusted) with a betting site for a game (CS:GO).

Because of the unique aspect of this website dealing with virtual items (skins & keys), it has more components than a usual poker & betting site would have with real money.

It needs to have bots to send and receive "trade" offers to give the user credits to bet with.

The bots take around $100-$200 to build and the site takes around $200-$500 to build and to be honest, the site design looks pretty sharp (not 100% unique though). Its handsome though.

He is selling the site for $80 with an additional $5 to setup the site for me on VPS and Hosting which I will pay for.

Should I take this, edit some html code (very clean) and CSS (bootstrap) and flip it multiple times on Flippa? Would people be willing to purchase a betting website of a very popular game for around $50 starting price auctions?

Please give me advice if you know this industry and if you think the price is fair!

Be careful there is a lot of grey area around the laws concerning these betting sites. I assume if he is selling for only $50 it is just the framework for the site? Buyers on Flippa generally only care about how much revenue the site has made, not necessarily its future potential earnings. Buyers may struggle to see the value in all the bots etc.

Hard to say if people would be interested in this or not. Some may be turned off by the betting niche.

Just curious... On flippa when you say your site produces x a month. Is there any proof? Could you just say anything since you know.. it fluctuates
