hey guys, i have a quick question about the best way to handle backlinking on forums. one of my methods involves posting threads on forums that have died and therefore lack moderation to stop me from posting threads blatantly advertising my site. as it stands a couple of my niches have thousands of such forums and therefore tons of place to post. i do all of this manually to ensure that i have unique posts each time in order to prevent google from ruling out any links as duplicate content. my questions are: 1. just how many links should i reasonably shove into a post? 2. should i bother with signatures if i have my backlinks in posts as well? 3. How many posts do you recommend for each forum? 4. How many overall links per site per forum do you recommend i post? i know this is my first post but i hope you're still willing to give me some input,

thanks

Just make a contribution to the forum and they will grateful with you. Just do not spam.
Keep in mind the more relevant is the forum to your site the better.

thanks for the advice, and when i post on forums that are still active, i try to do just that, but in this case, i've got tons of old forums that are dead, but the topics of these forums are highly relevant to my niche, so i can essentially do what i want without moderation. i just want to know how much is too much on any given forum.
