Questions about parking

Hi,

I'm trying to get into domain parking with a handful of domains that I own, but I need to ask few questions first in order to know which service is for me. So...

1) do I need Adsense account in order to make money with domain parking, or is this not necessary? Because I don't have one, and - given how long it takes to get approved into Adsense nowadays (and I believe I would need to have a fully-working site anyway, which I don't, so there's that too) - I won't be getting one soon, so this is a bit of a problem for me at the moment...

2) do I need to send traffic myself to my own parked domains, or how does this work exactly? I've dealt with domain parking only once, and even that was over 16 years ago, and I don't remember anything from that time. Besides, probably a lot of things have changed in this industry over the years, and I'm not up-to-date anymore...

3) KYC... if you know me already, you know that I'm a big hater of getting KYC'd by random foreigners online who have no business knowing my phone number, or where I live and I look like. So, question #3 is: is there any KYC involved during ANY step of the process (signing up + setting up inventory + making money + withdrawing the money) at all, and if yes, what level of KYC are we talking about (ID level only, ID + proof of residence, ID + proof of residence + proof of liveliness, etc)?

4) assuming that the answers to the previous 3 questions are to my liking, which parking platform are you recommending that...

- is free to use (I think SEDO want me to give them money before I can park with them)
- is easy to sign up with (Bodis, for example, are asking for some retarded invitation code that I've no idea where to get, so this option is not working for me)
- pays decently (I don't mind sharing the revenue with the parking company if they don't rip me off, KYC the living crap out of me, or otherwise impose any other roadblocks and rules in my earning process)
- (optional but highly desirable) proactively works towards increasing the traffic to my parked domains and / or increasing my earnings (and, therefore, their earnings too since they'll be taking commissions - I presume - from my earnings themselves)

I did check Namesilo (since I've been using them as my main domain registrar anyway for over a decade) but they require me to own Adsense account which - like I said - is not possible for me at the moment. Maybe later down the road, but not now...

Sedo and Bodis are unusable for the reasons I explained...

ParkingCrew I just contacted minutes ago, asking them the exact same things I'm asking here, and now I'm waiting for their reply

GiantPanda I've heard good things about, but I've checked them and don't remember what it was,. but there was something about them that I didn't like (possibly something about KYC as this is the aspect of online business that triggers me the most these days)

So yeah... these are the options that I know of and - as you can see - nothing is even decently usable by me for whatever reason. So, what (other) options do I have? If there's any parking expert in here that can, and wants to help a newbie out please share a few tips and I will be grateful and I'll return the favor with the 1st chance that I get :)

I know, that's why I said "optional but desirable". I expect this to be too much of an ask, so I'm fine without this if everything else is ok.

So, what about my other requirements? Do you have any tip on those?
 
But are you domains getting any organic traffic ? Coz i also on 1000s of domains and generally they gets a few visit, for now if i don't use any, i just use godaddy lander. I am not sure if it could be any significant money making setup. Or are there any other reason behind that ?

I've no idea...

Their words do have 1000s of monthly searches, but whether or not this translates into domain traffic I can't say since I'm not monitoring these domains yet since I'm not parking them, nor do I have any tracker installed onto them...

I would just put a lander on them from carrd.co, and email sub "Sign up now" "Coming Soon" "You'll love it when it's released" lol

You could build up a list if there is any traffic, and have a better chance of ranking with a landing that at least has something on it, compared to a domain only lander, that has to wait for 1 person, if your selling the domain. "The right person". I would rather have 1k wrong people signed up on my list! :D

it's an option, one that I did consider...

But the reason for which I wanted to park them is 2-fold:

1) test how parking works as I used it many years ago and it brought me easy, passive money (but I stopped using it because it wasn't very profitable, although - in hindsight - back then I only had a couple of domains and they weren't even good, so probably that - knowing back then what I know now - I would have made a lot more money than today when the RPMs are so low)

2) easy, passive money like I mentioned. With the right domains (and a decent amount of them), the earnings from parking should theoretically cover for the domain's renewal and generate a profit too. Domain parking - should it still work - is arguably the easiest, and most passive way of making money online that I've ever dealt with. And since I do have a few domains that are getting 1000s of monthly searches for their respective words I am assuming that this will translate into direct traffic. But the problem is that I don't know how to monetize this traffic... well, besides building an email list with it like you said, but then I'd have to set up email followups and find products to promote and whatnot... it will be a whole business that I'd need to deal with, which will defeat the purpose of easy, passive money :)

Anyway, I purchased these domains either to make parking money with, or to sell, so I will make a decision in the next 2 months as right now they're locked anyway for 60 days, so I can't sell them even if I wanted to (and I do want to). That's why I am looking into parking them, over 2 months I will get a good idea of the money these domains can make, which could be enough for me to keep. But alas, I can't find a parking platform that's decent!
 
Domain parking is when you register a domain but don’t build a full site you either show a placeholder or ads.

Do you know of any method of showing ads besides Adsense? And which parking sites offer that method?
 
I can't remember the domain parking company, but there used to be a popular one, that also allowed jv's and domain rentals in the parking page for domain. So you could go around promoting your domain a bit better. I always liked their model, but never used them. Parking and rental, or joint venture are the key terms to find them I think.

lol even google ai doesn't know, so maybe they don't exist now? But there deifantly was one that you could do a rental on.

you don’t necessarily need AdSense for domain parking, as some platforms offer monetization through their own networks. As for traffic, most parking services will handle it for you, but more traffic always helps boost earnings. And yeah, the KYC stuff is usually a part of the process these days, but the level varies; some platforms are more chill about it than others. As for a good parking platform, you might want to try Park.io or EPN; they’re known to be pretty straightforward and don’t have all the crazy KYC or AdSense requirements
 
You don’t need an AdSense account for all parking platforms services like ParkingCrew or Dan.com work without it. Most platforms won’t send traffic for you. your domains need natural type-in traffic to earn. KYC is common for payouts, usually requiring at least ID verification. If you want to avoid AdSense and minimize KYC, ParkingCrew is likely your best option for now.

I'll be OK with ID, that's the only thing I accept with regards to KYC, I really don't understand asking for utility bills or selfies, that's so fucked up...

I did contact them some days ago... actually, a week ago if I think better, but they've not replied it, they probably didn't like my straightforward way of asking questions, so they got butthurt or something. In which case BYE-BYE ParkingCrew, I don't have time or clemency for such companies anymore...

I finally got the time to look Park.io and EPN up, and - I'll be honest - I don't like what I'm seeing...

I mean, neither site mentions anything about domain parking anywhere, are you sure that these are the sites? :)

Besides, Park.io is ugly as fuck, looks like a directory site from the 90s or something... and EPN is a CPA network??

Can you please check them yourself to confirm that they're the ones you mentioned?
