Questions about Google seo ranking factors

Hello, I'm a novice SEO worker working in South Korea.

According to SEO-related books and Google updates, high-quality content has a numerical advantage over backlinks.

A lot of things happen in SEO that I really don't understand.

How do sites with very little content and black hat SEO count in their search results?

Of course, the website I mentioned won't be visible in the search ranking any time soon


Should I think Google search engines exist because they're not human?


I still think the influence of the backlink is impossible to ignore, and I think I might temporarily cheat Google search engines.

Quality Content vs. Backlinks:
Quality content is very important. Google prioritizes useful and accurate information.Backlinks still matter, but now Google focuses more on quality than quantity. Backlinks from authoritative sites are more valuable.

Black Hat SEO:
Tactics like keyword stuffing or buying backlinks can give temporary ranking boosts, but Google will detect and penalize them, causing the site to drop or be removed from search results.

Google is Not Human:
Google uses algorithms to analyze data, not "think" like humans. However, it aims to provide the most relevant results based on signals like content quality, backlinks, and user experience.

Can You Trick Google?:
While it's possible to "cheat" Google temporarily with black hat SEO, it's risky and can lead to penalties. Sustainable, ethical SEO is the best long-term approach.

Content is important but no way we can say that it is more important than backlinks.

in the recent years content does indeed seem to have taken the spotlight in google's algorithmic calculations. But I've seen niches (gambling, for example, is one such niche that comes to mind, but there are definitely others) where content is less important than backlinks (and authority in general), even expired or aged quality domains are better for rankings in this niche than content is, so I wouldn't blindly trust this

that's by design. Google wants to confuse as many people so that there's not a lot of competition for the people that pay google (which is usually big businesses and authority sites).

20 years ago when google was not evil they provided better results than today, and they didn't have access to such advanced technology that they have today. So it is possible to keep SEO simple and working for most people, but google doesn't want everyone to be successful with them, they want to weed out the low and middle class to keep the wealth in the hands of a few already obscenely rich entities, that's one of the reasons for which SEO is confusing and complicated nowadays. I don't understand much of it anymore either, which is one of the main reasons for which I've sold my sites and now I have more time to do what I do best: daydreaming and helping people

I'm not following you, man... Search engines are not human, of course (they're lines of code that do what they're programmed to do), but what do you mean by "they exist because they're not human"? You have such a weird way with words, even weirder than me

you think correctly. And we allow you to permanently cheat google, not just temporarily. If you only do it temporarily then your rankings will be temporary too

Sites with Little Content Ranking Surprisingly Well
While backlinks, domain authority, and technical SEO play their part (as already mentioned above), here’s something not often discussed,
Write concise content that gets straight to the point.
Use schema markup to make your content stand out in search results.
Create engaging content to reduce bounce rates, think interactive tools, FAQs, or visual aids, really helps.

Blackhat techniques are only for ranking faster. In the end they won't last. Backlinks and high quality content are the two white hat ways that you have to focus on if you want to have a long and good ranking with google.

Everything google says not to do is ranking atm and at times these rankings are long term despite what some say. Google just cant seem to catch a well placed pbn or a article with blantant keyword stuffing that has tons of text to cover it up. Knowing what others are getting away with and ranking makes it fustrating experience

Name a few important Google ranking factors.

• Quality Content.
• Technical SEO.
• Quality & Relevant Backlinks.
• Mobile First.
• Page Speed.
• Brand Strength.
• Domain Strength.
• User experience.

Totally agree about some niches where content plays no role at all.
If I want to bet on a football game, I will get betting sites which will not explain how to bet but offer odds and promotions.
Same for emails... when you search for email... you'll see sites which offer email service rather than explain how email works.

The recent algo is just amazingly dumb because of this -*** even expired or aged quality domains are better for rankings in this niche than content is ***- this is rampart in my niche like a bad virus. Google is so dumb at the moment, its like some of these SEOs knew this was going to happen and owned many of them pre hand.

Some low-quality sites rank using tricks, but Google is getting better at catching them. Backlinks still matter, but quality is more important than quantity. While shortcuts might give quick results, they come with risks, so focusing on ethical strategies is the best way to succeed in the long run.
