So if anyone read my other post, Im new to this but I have been reading for over a year. I was busy with real jobs and etc, but now im gonna spend 2 months fulltime on IM to see if I can do it. Keep in mind I plan on being pretty much 100% whitehat. My goal is a modest $10/day by Jan 2012.

Now I understand adsense, and its clear it works (ive made afew $ from it with no effort) and I feel confident in adsense because it is a trusted company.. But from what I can tell, adsense is one of the slower gainers..

When it comes to other affiliates, Im concerned on them being not safe/scams/etc, as we've all read bad stories around here on certain ones that dont pay out or etc.

My question is; if I have a whitehat blog, will putting one of these affiliate sites ads ruin my reputation for google ranking/spam/etc or sandbox/ban my site?? And if I do use one, how do they normally pay out? Paypal or bank direct deposit? Is there any risk of my paypal being screwed over or your bank being compromised when using these affiliates?
(my paypal is my personal one, should I get a business account?)

What affiliates would you suggest that are reputable and known to work great??

(Yes I am aware being whitehat will not be a "get rich quick" thing, im willing to work hard for months to see very slight profits. My goal by end of 2011 is $10 a day, which doesnt seem too massive, and I will be working 4-5 hours a day til then)

I heard Google bought other affiliates also?? is that true? may be a good place to start, since Google (im assuming) is the most trustworthy company when it comes to IM, if you are whitehat.

It would be great to have a list of those Google affiliates.

If you are worried about safety pick your affiliate programs from large affiliate networks like CJ.com, shareasale.com or linkshare.com. Affiliates have to pay a decent size set up fee to join these networks and it is in the networks interests to make sure every affiliate program offered in the network is genuine, and you get paid direct by the network.

how do most of them pay? paypal or bank direct??

also; clarify this for me.. So CJ/sharesale/linkshare are networks of affiliates.. and that makes them more reliable how? I thought CJ was one of the ones I heard bad reviews on in the past from here, which if they are a network of affiliates rather than their own affiliate, thats somewhat confusing.

I understand the bigger they are network wise, its less likely they will scam you, but theres still the posibility.

I'll have to research them more but wish there was like just a list somewhere of the most "trusted" affiliates =[

I hate to bump, but im still wondering about this.

Is there any risk to my paypal or bank account if I use affiliates or etc??

nowadays a lot of people are switching to alertpay... it seems paypal is getting too big for its own boots
