Questions about domain buying

I was wondering if anyone had any promo codes for cheap domains and if internet bs is still the best and cheapest place to buy domains with free whois. I did a search but most of the codes/places prices went up. If this has been answered numerous times point me in the right direction please.

If you use godaddy, then use Google Alert service to email you whenever godaddy new coupon is available. Search on Google for the setup videos.
