In theory, when using Web 2.0s to build links from, what would be better out of these two options?

In the example I'm trying to rank the keyword "best cat bed", and these are the articles that would be on the Web 2.0s, linking to my money site.

Option 1
The article title is: How To Make Your Cat Sleep Better
Anchor text: best cat bed
The article ranks really well for quite a few keywords, and is on the first page for "how to make your cat sleep better" and even gets some traffic.

Option 2
Article title is: How To Choose The Best Cat Bed For Grey Cats
Anchor text: best cat bed
The article is indexed, but doesn't really rank for any keywords. However, it's extremely relevant to cat beds/best cat beds.

So which would boost rankings more? The article that ranks really well, or the one that is extremely relevant and contains the target keyword in its title etc.

I'm aware that if you could get both options in one article it would probably be best, but if you had to choose.

Thanks

I would pick the first. More benefits - it's a good link, it looks (and is) 100% legit so it won't get deleted / deindexed AND it could even make you money in its own right.

Thanks mate. Looks like I'll be incorporating more keyword research into my web 2.0 building
