California Attorney General just sent me an email because 1 guy complained that the software I sell is missing something. SO they sent me a letter to my po box saying that I should respond to his complaint, that they need a response from me in 15 days or they "may" consider legal action etc. The transaction amount is only $40.

What should I do? Shut down my po box, respond with a letter? What?

I person got his money back and a free update to the software, is this anything I should be worried about?

If it's a real letter from the AG addressed to your real identity, you need to be talking to a lawyer, not getting advice off a message board.

Nothing better than the accurate title: Question. Do you also title your Essays "Essay"?

Why don't you hire a lawyer and ask him what you should do?

Well yes, talk to a lawyer.

But I'd like to know if you're promising things that your customers aren't actually getting. That's the only reason I see that someone would complain. And if that is the case, I'd say you deserve it. yeah writing essays is just like creating threads on a forum lol

and OP if that guy got his money back then theres nothing he can do lol tell him and his lawyer to fuck off its your program you do what the hell ever you want to do, add something or remove something its yours

and if i were you, id take the program back, stop his license stop giving him free updates, he has successfully scared you and now is getting all free stuff, its bullshit stop letting him get what he wants
