Hello Good People

I attached a screen shot of my personal profile (not my page or business). Here I see an option create an another profile (I marked).

So can someone please tell me in details how it works and what is for it?

What happens when you click that? Kinda obvious what it is for, it's for when you have more than one profiles?

This will probably allow you to log in to an additional account on this device.
 
This feature on Facebook allows you to create additional sub-profiles linked to your main account, helping you manage different roles/interests and have better privacy control on the platform.

So if I post anything from this sub account viewers will get any clue of my main profile?

Purpose of this feature:
Purpose Description
Separate personal life & work Eg: 1 profile for family, 1 profile for work
Create secondary characters for community, game, roleplay Like clone account but official
Manage multiple communities / groups without duplicate roles Admin multiple groups easier
Test content, join separate groups, avoid spamming main profile Easier seeding without risking main account

That option lets you create a second profile under the same Facebook account. It's still you, but with a separate name, feed, and friend list. You can use it for different purposes like one for personal use and one for a hobby, niche interest, or low-key activity. It follows the same Facebook rules, but people won’t see your main profile unless you want them to. It's not a Page or a Business Manager thing. It's just an alternate personal profile, useful if you want to keep things separate without creating a second account.
 
Additional Account (Additional Profile), How to link to the original account?
No public link: But completely dependent on the main account
No private phone number/mail: No automatic recovery if the main account is locked Easy simultaneous login: But all actions are tracked together
 
This feature allows you to create a sub-profile. You can use this sub-profile to create private groups of friends for work purposes or to store private data.
 
Facebook now allows you to use that feature. it's a newly updated option currently being tested on a limited number of accounts.
