Hey everyone,

I have started a blogging site 4 months ago out of a passion for the topic and made sure that I wrote about topics that are low comp and decent volume (100-1k or 1k-10k)

My results outside of Reddit are low and I don't know why. I hoped that my posts starting to get some impressions, but it does not go up.

I have written 60 articles with 1.2k+ words mostly and some even 3k+.

Some of my articles just stopped getting impressions

This is probably because I changed themes, but the impressions did not return yet.

These are the number of keywords I rank now.

Should I wait or change something?

Kind regards,

Does anyone have any idea?

Thanks in advance!

Did you do any research on KWs or did you just write out of passion?

I see you have some words on page two, that's good but not enough, how do your competitors look on the first page, any forum, question site or "weak" pages?

My recommendation is that you use a tool like SuferSeo to optimize articles (prioritize the higher ranking ones), this will help a lot.

Ultimately, send a few backlinks, but first do what I told you above and see how it behaves, 80% (invented percentage) of the problems are solved by optimizing the articles.

Good luck to you.

Hey, thanks for the answer! I am writing all articles based on KW research. 90% of my posts are based on KW posts there are researched with low comp and decent volume.

I don't have a lot of competitors, there are only 3 big ones and the rest is on forums or question sites like Reddit.

I love to improve my posts of course, but I don't think it is an issue because I am following the Income School Strategy of posting, and using Grammarly premium to make my posts clear.

Of course, backlinks would be great, but I don't like the idea of purchasing something and creating them myself seems useless because I don't know where to start for that. I can also try to start to do some guest posts, but listening to Income School you don't need any Guest posts to rank.

as you can see the traffic is mainly Reddit...

Could it be that the google search console is not updating for me? while it is saying that it does?

Anyways, Thanks for the input.

If the traffic comes from Reddit, it will not count as an impression, the impressions are only from organic searches.

They have very few words in the SERP. That's why I suggested pushing some articles to the first page, as Google also starts ranking similar terms to your kw.

Nothing, keep creating articles and positioning it, that will increase your numbers.

I am also inner linking well and keep creating content. 10-20 articles a month + 1-3 videos a month is my goal.

Did you think it may be caused by changing themes or is it because my site is just no authority yet.?

Changing the theme may cause your rankings to drop or disappear, resulting in fewer impressions. Just give them time and they will return to where they were or higher. Be careful, the opposite can also happen.

Are you keeping track of how the articles you wrote are ranking in search? If they're not ranking well then you wouldn't get search traffic.

It will take time for all your articles to get indexed and start showing up in the SERPs if they have proper on-page optimization. Once it starts showing up in the SERPs it will start moving up in the SERPs if the article is of high quality.

Yeah I am keeping track, some articles are on second page now and most of them on third fourth or fifth page.

I have done on page optimization, h1 has keyword in it and first paragraph has the keyword and at least 3 more times in the text. Also has inner linking, outer linking and images are good images with alt text, and the link length is short with keyword in it.

Check if Google is able to crawl your website properly. Check for any javascript issues. Do keywords research even harder and find long tail keywords and use KGR concept.

Do some link building and do proper internal linking of your articles. Have you made proper categories?

There could be many reasons to see why you are not getting exposure. I can give you a quick audit if i have your website url

Thanks

If you're impressions are from Google SERP, Try adding Rich Snippets, this will increase your CTR Ratio.

I have done snippet optimalization!

Basically 300char answer target in first 3 paragraphs bolded.

Maybe give your site with keyword low competitor .. because your domain new start in search engine ...

All keywords I targeted are low comp and on some of those keywords reddit/Quora or another 0 authority site is on top.
