i want to start my own URL Shortener website because i have a domain without a use that is perfect for it
so my question, how much the owner of url shortener website makes per 1000 views?
and what is the best way to monetize clicks ?

Most URL shorteners sell ad space on the waiting window. Usually, it's $5 for 1000 views of an ad.

You really just have to focus on driving users to use the service. The more users who shorten the URLs the more impressions advertisers will want to buy.

The amount of profit you make really depends on how many views you sell. You have to calculate the server costs into the equation.

I had a custom made adfly clone made a while back cost me about $300 I didn't actually have any of my own advertisers but I was sending around 500k unique per month though the site to make it popular what I did was setup many of different adsense sites in different peoples names and used those sites as my house ad, I was making quite good money however google banned most of my accounts but I was making anything from 4$ - 20$ per 1000 unique for US/UK Traffic.
