My recovery occurred over the weeks, I am now back to all my original positions. Only things I did was reduce my keyword density by a bit, and build a few strong backlinks via manual outreach.

Not every week but I've suffered three distinct penalties since 7th Feb.
First hit around Friday 17th Feb and was due to duplicate content, because I changed my CDN configuration and accidentally allowed Google to discover the same content on two subdomains. That took a while to figure out and recovery happened on Friday 3rd March.
Second was anchor text ratio - I won't go into details but I lost a sitewide backlink which meant my keyword anchor text ratio increased. Hit on Friday 17th March, recovered Friday 24th March.
Third, I made one small change to the home page and that triggered a keyword density penalty. Hit Friday April 7th, changed the text after a couple of days but didn't recover until last night (Friday 14th).
So - is Google running the algo every Friday? So if you get hit, you have to wait a week to recover no matter what you do? Has anyone else seen anything like this?
