Question to flippa users

Hi guys,
I want to sell websites on flippa.
I don't want to give my real name to them.
Do they require real infos? Do they ask for verification when you sell your site before releasing the money?
I read on namepros people complaining flippa ask for a pic of you holding your ID next to your face... that's weird....

why not? you have to you have to use your real details, as it most times require verification

yeah I think I'm going to use real infos to avoid hassle.
I was thinking of using fake ones because there are buyers who buy and then want to retract for some reason and then search for your real name to contact you and ask for refund

you need to verify with you Domain Registrant and Site ownership Details , then you need to pay some charges for the listing

Any serious buyer will demand to know the exact website before agreeing to purchase your website. Even if you go via private brokers, you'll have to reveal the exact name to them and further they will have to reveal it to your actual buyers. I suggest you to go via private brokers if you don't want to attract too much publicity, you can find one easily if your site is worth at least $100,0000.

I think you can put the initials. That's how I got scammed by one guy. He just put something like H. L. and sold me a trash website. I couldn't even report to police because I didn't had his full name. So don't worry, even if you want to scam people on flippa you will do just fine. Flippa will not even bother you if you scam people. I never scammed on flippa, but is a crap platform and you need to be careful.

For example if I'd try to get my money back with paypal, flippa would ban my account. Such a pain in the a$$. So most likely you will get to keep the money if you sell to a buyer that wants to keep his flippa account.

Note: I'm not suggesting to scam anyone! I'm just saying that is very easy to scam because Flippa is a bad website that favors sellers. The reason is obvious, they make money from sales, even scams.

Side note: anyone tried to go to court with flippa for facilitating fraud online? I'd like to see what happens as they didn't gave me the seller name.

I don't want to scam anybody, just want to sell starter websites. But there are cheap buyers who always complain, even after months, I don't want to deal with them.
