Question to anyone who sells for drop shipping

Hi I was considering starting to keep some bulk product on hand and was wondering what people who sell items from drop ship usually look for in terms of profit. Just curious. I'm in the U.s. An not sure if it will end up worth it, but any answers would be appreciated. If it's something I can make money and sellers can too I'll be sure to let the BHW community know through their membership. Also any experiences on how fast products can move when sold this way. I'm sure it will vary but just trying to ballpark how much stock I'd be looking to keep on hand. It will be one type of a product that will have a bunch of different kinds.
