Question to a Black Hat SEO expert

hey everyone,

i usually work with white hat seo, focusing mostly on scaling via content and legit strategies.
but now i’m looking to get some real insight into black hat seo—want to learn from someone who truly knows the game and can break down how to really rank fast, the smart way.
not looking for services, more just want advice from an expert:

• what tools do people use?
• what’s working now?

Black hat SEO can rank fast, but it’s risky. Many use PBNs, strong indexing tools, and automated link building. Always test on non-important sites first to avoid losing real projects.

Black hat SEO still works but the key is balancing aggressive tactics with strong fundamentals so your sites don’t burn overnight.

Most people rely on automation tools, expired domains, PBNs, cloaking and churn-and-burn strategies to rank fast.

Just remember - indexing, link velocity, and footprint control matter more than any single tool.

Even though I prefer white hat SEO, learning about black hat SEO has opened my eyes. Knowing how far you can push things without burning a site is crucial, based on what I've observed thus far.

Automation scrapers, indexers, and PBN setups are examples of tools that are still in use; the key is knowing when and on which projects to use them.

I am creator of many tools so cannot suggest them (against rules) but I can say that I still think that expired domains and PBNs are still by far the easiest way to get and keep rankings.

I've even started my own series of PBN guides to walkthrough every step of finding backlinks, evaluating, registering, hosting and getting indexed. People are overlooking a lot of stuff based on outdated advice, though, there are far more domains out there than most would think.

If you’re stepping into the darker side of SEO, there are a few things worth keeping in mind so you don’t burn a project before it even starts.

First, treat everything like testing. Don’t mix your main sites with experiments. Use fresh domains, track everything, and don’t assume anything that worked last year still works today.

As for what’s working now, most people who still play in this space lean on three things: authority manipulation, fast link velocity, and smart content automation. Tiered link building still gets results when you keep anchors natural and power up your base links. Parasites work, but you need strong platforms and the right intent match, otherwise they fall off fast.

Tools you’ll see a lot: indexers, link crawlers, scrapers, and content generators. People mix GSA/RankerX/NUKE for volume, and then use private stacks, cloud pages, or aged domains for the “cleaner” layer. Cloaking is still around, but it’s a whole different level of risk.

Biggest tip: move slow on anchors, fast on authority. And keep everything separate. The guys who last in black hat aren’t the ones spamming hardest, they’re the ones who know when to stop.

You’ll learn the most by testing small, burning a few domains, and watching how the algo reacts. That’s where the real experience comes from.

The fundamentals haven't changed much. Expired domains with clean backlink profiles, PBNs that look natural with different hosts and CMS setups, and parasite SEO on high-authority sites still work if done carefully.

Most people use Ahrefs or SEMrush for reconnaissance, then ScrapeBox for footprint analysis and GSA for automation. Money Robot and RankerX are popular for tiered link building.

What's working now is AI content at scale but it needs to be humanized, not raw ChatGPT output. Web 2.0 properties with aged social signals are solid, along with redirect chains from expired domains and SERP manipulation through CTR bots though that's getting riskier.

The key risks are that Google's pattern detection is improving rapidly, manual penalties hit harder and faster than before, most foolproof methods only last 6-18 months max, and one bad footprint can destroy entire networks.

The smart approach is hybrid. Build a white hat foundation then use selective black hat acceleration on expendable test sites. Never risk your main money site on pure black hat unless you have multiple backup domains ready to go.
