[Question] These Guides on Getting Backlinks From Random Platforms

Can somebody fill me in?

So, I see quite a few of these guides on how to get a ******** or nofollow backlink on random places like Soundcloud, Experiment.com, etc, etc
(and they're awesome, don't get me wrong).

Some of them are even contextual, although from non-relevant authority sites of course.

But, will these sort of links help me in any way?

I have a new site for example.

Only a few weeks old, I am publishing like crazy on low competition keywords. 1-5 1k articles daily.

So in time, they will rank somewhere, but if I can get a head-start then surely I will take it.

So to the questions:

1. Is my domain rating/authority going to increase?
2. Will these links even benefit me in anyway?
3. And isn't Google just going to penalize my site?

I would really appreciate some detailed answer or explanation.

They won't help you much. They are technically made for diversity, but they won't make a punch in your ranks. The theory dictates that if you are doing a shitton of links, its good to have lesser quality and no follow links to have a proper "diversified and natural" linking profile.

Many people simple hire this job with people that mostly do this bulk. Basically they have 100% interiorized this process, and they create hundreds of account per hour, so for them it's barely nuts. For you, it could take like 10 minutes per account and barely 6 accounts per hour. If they charge you like $10 for 10 manual links like those, you may probably spend like hour and a half, and unless your $/hour is less than $10 it won't be worth for you doing this by yourself (also the research of knowing which profile, directories, etc.. are useful for this task). If you have a VA, this is one of the wonderful tasks to be given

1. yes! Backlinks from authority websites do pass good link juice, but obviously not at a 1:1 ratio. But they do help
2. they'll increase your website's authority and if you point them to inner pages that you wish to rank in google and for which keywords your competitors have no backlinks then these inner pages will get a slight boost (assuming that all other elements are similar to your competitors' elements, obviously)
3. why would google penalize your site??? Even if you're doing something really black hat with it, sometimes it takes google months to figure out what's wrong, sometimes they don't even catch spammers for years until someone tells google about those spammers, so why on Earth would they penalize your website for getting backlinks? I mean, if they will find out that your backlinks are not acquired naturally (by other people willingly linking out to you) they will probably penalize you, but how are they going to know that you're building the backlinks yourself? Google is a computer, not human to actively read these messages and track you down and deindex all of your websites in a flash and then send you to jail. Just don't worry about it

They are mainly for diversity and building the brand. Really cheap to have done for you, there are a couple diversity package sellers in the Marketplace that are reputable.
