I have social media accounts with several thousand followers in the niche of electronic cigarettes. My followers are strictly targeted to people who actually use e-cigs. How may I monetize off of them?

I have tried applying for adsense but they do not work with "tobacco related" sites. I am open to trying other PPC networks but suggestions would help. As of now, I am just watching my numbers in followers/likes/etc grow, while income is still at a solid $0.

it's quite hard to work around with traffic when there arent many PPC networks out there that work with tobacco related sites. also, CPC isn't an option as most of the e cigs promotions online in CPC networks are very very disappointing.

Are there any affiliate programs for ecigs? Ecig users constantly want to find better juices, so being an affiliate for juices I would imagine would be really good.

Edit: I just googled and yes a bunch of the large ecig sites have affiliate programs. I'm sure you can find ways to link products without it coming off as spammy.

Last time I tried promoting e-cig offers, I used one from Peerfly.

Definitely check them out. They have e-cig free trail offers available.

I've been vaping for 5 years now (before the whole boom of e-cigs in general). I'd suggest checking out the e-cig IRC channel (there's a vendor channel) and there's a number of hangouts on G+. There's vendors (small time) that do great e-juice and e-cig mods that offer high affiliate commissions.

Talk to the vendors directly, and try to get some sort of negotiation working in your favor. I know the profit margin is huge on juice, so you could easily find yourself profiting big on that.

I was in the e-cig business online a few years ago and here's what I can tell you. I sold V2, Blu Cigs, Premium, Green Smoke, Luci and others. I tried them all - they would send them out to us I had a box full of starter kits and cartridges. We got so deep into the e-cig business we were looking to private label our own brand.

The starter kits sold well back then but we almost never sold cartridges. I think these cheap e-cigs are not worth selling today they are not quality and I don't think people who buy those come back to buy more stuff.

Fast forward to today and now I've even started vaping myself. I own a proper e-cig now and can tell you the difference in quality and experience isn't even comparable. I'm not going to go into detail and bore you but trust me on this one the people who are going to spend the most money today are looking for and or own quality e-cigs.

So with that being said stay away from CPA offers they will likely only have the cheap cartridge e-cigs in them. Also try to stay away from V2, blu cigs and companies like that. If you had to pick between the two though go with somebody like V2 over an CPA offer I found they converted really well where I had bad luck with CPA offers.

Times have changed though; go find yourself a proper e-cig affiliate. The guys who are going to make you money are guys like me who buy tons of flavors of e-juice, need atomizers all the time (every time I buy an atomizer I'm picking up two new flavors of juice too!) and like to try out different parts in general. That "cheaper" vaping alternative just became an expensive hobby (my buddy owns probably 10 different batteries alone).

As an experienced vaper myself, I understand every little thing that you are saying which is why I wanted to start this thread. I agree, there are a lot of shitty quality CPA offers out there and I know right off of the bat that I can't work with those offers. Everyone wants the best product out there, rather than the disposable or low quality supply.

I find myself to spend hundreds on vape ware in a short time frame. Like sneakers, people want what's hard to get, or what's hot to stay on top of the game or to even pursue originality.

Hopefully I can find a good CPA offer out there...
