[Question] Setting up a site with slightly dodgy content

Didn't really know how to word the title correctly so that will have to do..

I am thinking of setting up a site, probably in wordpress, aimed at jailbreaking.

Now I am just wondering how do you get around, for example, posting links to cracked apps etc?

I am assuming they would get removed or some form of action would be taken against my site?

Any help and advise is appreciated.

you should start by examining who is already doing similar in the marketplace. You will get answers here, but not as many as you should be finding out yourself.

currently i know that you have not checked out your competition, you don't have a list of which sites have been banned, and what sort of legal action has been taken on people, and to what limits.

make yourself the expert, especially if your going to be playing in that niche. Don't wait for others to hand you the in's and outs without even trying. You'll never even make a dime using that mentality.

Get non US hosting, apparently you can't get in as much trouble for pirated stuff in other countries.
Put all your links on mediafire or something like that, so you aren't actually storing the software yourself.
Put a disclaimer on your site: "For educational purposes only", or something to that effect.

I'm not an expert on this so perhaps someone will be able to elaborate if I've missed anything.

Thanks for the tips guys, it's just a thought, might not go for that general niche but it's a tempting one.

I've seen BlueAngelHosting on here, if doing something like this I assume they would be the way to go?
