Ok, I am wondering if I build customized Genesis child themes can I actually sell them, I mean is it legal?

I was unable to find this information on the net.

Can you please help?

Hi, I found this site and it says that the genesis themes are GNU public license. See here http://www.studiopress.com/tips/make-money-with-wordpress.htm

if you only sell the child theme, meaning only the files you created with your modifications then you should have no problem with that. instruct the buyer where to get the original theme and how to install your child theme and you should be fine.
