Question Regarding Website Traffic

Hi, I have my own website which is based on social media activity news and i want to promote it to get more relevant traffic per day. If i work on daily bases on my website then approximately how much general traffic i can get in per day with SEO. Share your knowledge. Thanx.

There's absolutely no way anyone can tell you how much traffic, if any, you're going to get.

There are several factors involved in this such as:

1. How many keywords you'll actually rank for.
2. How many searches/month those keywords have.
3. How many people out of the number of people searching for your target keyword are going to click your website's link in Google (CTR).

Then those factors are respectively dependant on how well you know how to rank for keywords, the quality of keywords you target, and if your title and description is well-written enough to entice users to choose it over the 9 other organic results (not counting any local and Google entities that appear).

To further that, you'd need to know who you are competing against in the SERP's for the keywords that you are targeting also as this would affect how well you rank - that being if the competitors are using SEO or not etc.

If you use Google's keyword planner tool, you can input the keywords that you think will be relevant and see the search volumes around that on average. That would give you a pretty good idea of the market size for those keywords that are out there, but again, as Zwielicht's has stated, there are a number of factors that go into whether or not you rank well and the traffic you will generate.

There is not a way to say how much you will get. It depends on a variety of factors.......
