So I have a blog in the Business Niche and it's divided in 5 different sub-niches. I'm looking to get more quality backlinks. Right now I'm using twitter but I was also thinking of writing either for Ezinarticles or Hubpages. Which website would be more beneficial for me???

Both, and a lot of other similar sites too. There are a ton of site lists on the forum you can find to submit content to and link back to your site.

Like politico said, do a search for lists of web 2.0 properties and wiki properties and document sharing properties, use as many as possible and think about creating a pdf doc with html links inside of it, then share it on the doc sharing sites.....and look into blog commenting maybe also.

From what I understand I read that Ezinarticles took a huge hit due to the Panda Update. I might start off with Hubpages first since it seems that get more traffic.

Both are pretty fine. You can use also squidoo, zimbio, livejournal and many other similar websites as tier 1 web 2.0 properties.
