lets say i want to create an adsense blog/affiliate blog or both on a keyword optimized domain that is available that i think could rank well what is the minimum amount of search traffic most of you would search for to make this worth your while?

I know this answer will vary but lets say i found domains that are exact matches for words with searches of say 2900-4900 per month is it worth the time and effort to buy the domain and make these sites?

obviously these will be longer tail phrases 3 or 4 words and the .coms have been snatched up and parked if a .org and .net is taken and they arent being used will i have trouble getting a .info ranked for those exact match domains?

that is a lot of questions, I will do my best to answer. at minimum your exact searches for a keyword should be no less then 1,500. There is a lot of debate over this and I have even done some websites that got like 480 exact searches but had a lot of other keywords that I was going to rank for which then equaled about 4,200 exact searches per month.

as for if the .org and .net is taken and your question about the .info, that really has nothing to do with getting a site ranked. What is the competition of the said keyword? I find it better to purchase the exact match .net if the .com is taken, and if they are both taken I will usually make a .com with another word at the end of the keyword like store/site/best or something like that, but that is totally a personal choice that is up to you. I don't like .info's though I do think they are just as easy to get ranked, I don't think people click on them as much as they have gotten a bad rep.

    Happy New Year

When you use the tool without changing anything you are seeing broad. You have to scroll down the left side of the screen and unclick broad and click the exact check box, then it will give you exact matches. Plus you can tell because the keyword will look like this when it is exact - [keyword] and when it is phrase it will look like - "keyword" and broad is with nothing.
