Question regarding LinkedIn Pulse

When I Google, I do see many LinkedIn articles ranking for different keywords whatever the keywords are. If I view the page source, I do not see any "noindex" tag, and naturally, Google is indexing those (and that's why they are legitimate candidates of ranking for keywords in the first place, which in turn is why I am finding them on Google).

Of late, I tried posting a few articles on LinkedIn. Each of these received a "noindex" tag in their body, and none of these got indexed. Any idea why?

I later went ahead and checked for a couple of folks I know personally, that have posted in 2018, I saw all of those articles to have a "noindex" tag too. Mentioned this to give the information here that it is not specific to my account, and those articles by those others had nothing to do with money making at all - far from it.

By the way, if I log into LinkedIn and then view the page source, I do not see the "noindex" tag. That does not matter as far as SEO is concerned, because the moment I log out and check the articles, I again do see the "noindex" tag back in the source content body (and this "noindex" is the version that Google ought to see as that is the "public" version).

Any input / insight will be appreciated. Note, here my objective was to rank the LinkedIn article on Google, and has nothing to do with linking back to my site (so I do care about "noindex" vs. not, but do not care about "nofollow" vs. not).

You don't insert any link to your money website. Your purpose is only to rank your article in google
May I ask you what is the purpose of this? If you can't earn by linking out to a money website?

Oh I do insert a link to the money site from the LinkedIn pulse post. That's not what I had meant. I had meant, I don't care about whether or not, and how much, link juice that link from the LinkedIn pulse post gives to my money site. But I do care about making sure that the LinkedIn page is indexed, as I was hopeful of ranking the LinkedIn page on Google, which would help me pre-sell to my customers with my social authority.

Hope that clarifies the motivation.

Having said that, the response to my question will not depend upon this motivation. The motivation could have been anything, but the end-objective is to have my LinkedIn page indexed. That "noindex" tag that is mysteriously appearing in the post is preventing that.

Looking for inputs towards that. Hope someone can give a deeper insight.

Getting the pulse articles to get the no index tag removed has got something to do with the number of likes. From my research, if the article has less than 10 likes, it has a noindex tag.

Since even I wanted to get the no index tag removed, I bought some likes from a seller but unfortunately it did not help. I guess linkedin can identify fake likes or something. But the noindex tag is definitely dependent on whether the article crosses a minimum number of likes (which is 10 IMO)

they still use the /pulse/ subdirectory so it is basically the same thing
