Question regarding hashtags

So, lets say I am getting around 120 likes for each picture with ~6 hashtag each, and I have 2k followers. Will it be smart to reduce the hashtags or keep it the same?

Why not experiment with more hashtags?

When I used hashtags in my early days, I used up to 50 hashtags. I would get around 100 likes on a 1k account.
