I bought a domain about of few months ago which I am working on to create into authority site, anyway i just realised that on archive.0rg somone else was using the domain, it seems as a url redirect to their main website cause the domain has little to do with their company name and its not an EMD.

Anyway, i checked with market samurai and its also showing my domain as a 7 year old domain  just wondering would this be considered an "aged" domain if it was only used as a redirect not as an actual website? does is also mean i can give it a more intense seo workout seeing how old it is?

thanks to anyone who helps :)

Does it have backlinks showing if it does with the age it is an aged domain. When you rank it high in your niche with some articles on it then it can be classified as authority domain. One last thing i hope it has not experience a drop.

unfortunately it didn't have any backlinks pointing to it from yahoo when i bought it, so i guess that means its not considered an aged domain :( and i really hope it didnt experience a drop cause ive been working on this like an animal lol
