Question regarding CF and TF

Sorry for this very noob question. I am quite confused with this CF and TF metrics of majestic. I do not know if I should trust them or not. Are they the new gauge of SEO Rankings?

Citation Flow and Trust Flow are not factors of any kind in Google's algorithm. An explanation of what CF and TF are can be found below.

These 3rd party metrics are used by some people to determine a website's worth or how competitive a website is in the search engine results pages, also known as the SERPs. However, as macdonjo3 demonstrated in his thread, these metrics can be easily manipulated.
