Question regarding blogs in Canada

Not sure if this is the right place to ask. For the unaware, Meta and Google announced that they won't be displaying news from Canadian news outlets.

My question is, what kind of outlets will be affected? Are blogs affected too? I run a tech blog with less than 1500 views a month, so it's very small. Will I be affected by it? If not, how do they determine which websites to ban?

some blogs that do provide a mix of news updates and general lifestyle can be affected and have been affected. If a blog is something like "cooking, fashion etc", that should not see the adverse effect.
